Jeepers Creepers, Where’d Ya Get Those Peepers?

Friday, October 7 2016 12:06 PM

As people who help others see better, we have to say...we love eyeballs. And with Halloween just around the corner (one of our favorites holidays!), we thought we’d share some of the best eyeball recipes floating around the web.

This Halloween, whether you’re preparing treats for the kids’ classroom party or getting ready for the big night at your house, these eyeball recipes are sure to get people looking.

Monster eyeballs

Monster eyeballs:

This simple recipe made with peanut butter (or almond butter!) and M&Ms make this recipe a sure hit at your next party.

Who doesn't love chocolate and peanut butter?

Halloween eyeball cookies

Halloween eyeball cookies:

Similar to the recipe above, these cookies are made with peanut butter for an unexpected treat. What really sets these apart, though, is the white dipping chocolate that takes them to the next level of eyeball realness. Add a few veins and you've got yourself a truly creepy (but delicious) treat.

Cake eyeballs

Cake eyeballs:

Not into cookies? Then you're definitely going to want to check out this cake-based recipe! While these are a little more of a time commitment than cookies, a box cake from the local grocery store makes these super easy to make. Simply bake, crumble, roll, freeze, and frost. Get the kids involved too. They'll  love destroying the cake they just baked!

Eerie eyeball pops

Eerie eyeball pops:

What makes a sweet treat better than looking like an eyeball? Eyeballs on a stick!

While we're sure these chocolate cake pops will bring a whole new level of spookiness to your Halloween party, we have to warn you: the comments section is full of bakers who struggled with the recipe. Make sure you're up for a challenge when you take on these eyes on a stick.

Jello eyeballs

Jello eyeballs:

So cookies and cakes aren't your thing? You'll definitely want to give this Jello recipe a try! While this requires a little more time, skill, and patience, the result is fantastic. How much will people enjoy slurping down the cold goo of a Jello eyeball?

Crunchy donut eyeballsCrunchy Donut eyeballs:

We're all about saving time and effort. And that's exactly what these donut eyeballs are all about.

Head over to the local donut shop, grab a few dozen donut holes, and decorate with melted white chocolate, gummy Lifesavers and M&Ms. This one is so simple, you can get the whole family involved.

So, that's it! We hope you found at least one eyeball recipe here to make your Halloween party extra spooky (and sweet). And while you've got eyeballs on your mind, don't forget about your own! Grene Laser has helped thousands of people across Kansas improve their peepers. Schedule a free consultation to learn more.
