Mark Wellemeyer, M.D.

A native Wichitan, Dr. Wellemeyer returned to Wichita after he completed a fellowship in corneal surgery at Corneal Consultants of Indiana.

Dr. Wellemeyer has practiced microsurgery in Wichita since 1993. He is one of the few eye surgeons in the region trained to perform both advanced lens microsurgery and corneal surgery including sutureless cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, phakic lenses, corneal transplantation, custom Intralase LASIK and custom PRK.

Christopher Tran, O.D.

Christopher Tran, O.D. is Director of the Grene Laser Refractive Surgery Program and provides refractive surgery consultations. The Grene Laser team has more than 60 years of combined refractive surgery experience and utilizes the latest advancements and state-of-the-art technology.

Dr. Tran was born and raised in Wichita. He attended Wichita State University for his undergraduate studies. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where he earned honors distinction, as well as the Carl Zeiss Fellowship - one of only 19 awarded annually for excellence in optometric studies nationwide.
